At Saintlo, we believe travel can change the world. 🌍

We are much more than a network of youth hostels: we are a non-profit social enterprise that puts innovation, community, and sustainability at the heart of everything we do. Our ambition? • Monitoring & reporting: Track results, prepare progress reports, and recommend improvements.
  • Collaboration & partnerships: Work with internal and external teams to integrate sustainability across all activities.
  • Compliance & research: Ensure compliance with Quebec and Ontario regulations and stay up to date on CSR and environmental practices.
  • Representation: Represent Saintlo at events, conferences, and in the media as a sustainability expert.
  • Grants: Identify and manage funding opportunities to support eco-responsible initiatives.

You’re the ideal candidate if you:

  • Hold a university degree in environment, sustainable development, project management, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Have project management experience.
  • Are bilingual in French and English (essential for collaboration with our Ontario teams).
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Have excellent communication and writing abilities (both French and English).
  • Demonstrate natural leadership, autonomy, and the ability to mobilize teams around common goals.
  • Are passionate about environmental issues and sustainable transition.

What we offer:

  • 2-year full-time contract (40h/week), with measurable, concrete impact;
  • Salary between $25 and $26 per hour;
  • Hybrid position (at least 2 days/week on-site in Montréal, frequent travel to Ottawa);
  • Group insurance and pension plan;
  • Free or discounted stays within our network;
  • Discounts at the hostel bistro (Montréal);
  • Hybrid telework policy (up to 3 days/week remote);
  • A workplace culture that values work-life balance;
  • A passionate and supportive team;
  • Bright office steps from Côte-des-Neiges metro;
