Hello, we’re Saintlo

We’re a collective of hostels with super local character. A social economy business. We help everybody explore our neck of the woods like a local. From the tip of the Gaspé Peninsula to the Great Lakes of Ontario, we offer social accommodation. A place to meet up with people who come from all over the world.

Together, we help grow the nomad community.

You are the right person for the job if:

Are you creative, curious, and looking for your first graphic design job to truly make an impact?
Join an organization that values your talent as much as your sense of adventure!

We’re looking for someone like you—freshly graduated, motivated, and full of ideas—to hop on board for a temporary contract that promises to be anything but monotonous. If you want to help a growing brand shine, work in a stimulating environment, and leave your mark on a wide variety of concrete projects, we’re waiting for you.

Here’s what we’re offering ↓

Who are we?

Saintlo is a collective of youth hostels across quebec and ontario. Our mission: to create positive encounters between people from here and around the world, and to encourage the discovery of our region. In our eyes, openness, solidarity, and kindness are the keys to a better way of traveling.

Your work environment:

You’ll be joining a passionate marketing team entirely dedicated to promoting the hostel travel experience. This temporary position (maternity leave replacement) is a golden opportunity to dive into a variety of projects and explore what truly excites you in design. And the cherry on top: you might even get out into the field and experience our hostels from the inside!

Your tasks will include:

  • Designing clear and stylish signage for our hostels;
  • Creating visuals for our annual report (yes, we want it to be beautiful and engaging);
  • Adding flair to our monthly newsletter and sending out invitations;
  • Updating and developing the website (visuals, banners, event pages, etc.);
  • Doing a bit of photo retouching (and of course, playing with colors);
  • Collaborating on the creation of visual content for our social media;
  • Taking part in team brainstorming sessions;
  • Bringing your ideas and creative eye to everything we do visually;
  • Staying curious and inspired by keeping up with the latest trends;
  • Performing any other related tasks linked to producing printed and digital visuals (signage, merchandising, advertising, roll-ups, event materials, etc.).

You’re the perfect fit if:

  • You are a recent graduate in graphic design or a related field;
  • You are comfortable with the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Canva;
  • You can multitask in a dynamic environment with occasional tight deadlines;
  • You have a keen eye for detail;
  • You love teamwork and have excellent communication skills;
  • You enjoy traveling and have an interest in tourism and hostels;
  • Bonus: you’ve worked with Crowdriff, WordPress, or Mailchimp before.

What we offer:

  • 9-month full-time temporary contract, 40 hours/week;
  • Salary based on experience;
  • Free or discounted overnight stays in our beautiful collective;
  • Discounts at the hostel’s bistro (Montreal);
  • Hybrid work policy: up to 3 remote days per week;
  • A work environment that promotes a healthy work-life balance;
  • A passionate, human team;
  • A bright office just steps from Côte-des-Neiges metro station;
  • Start date: late September–early October 2025.
